Not that I specifically know of, but is there any reason why you can't open the text file in open office and print from there?

Go to File > Print. You should see an extra tab 'Text Editor'. Go there and uncheck 'Print Page Headers'.

There is. On the print dialog, uncheck the "Print page headers" in the Text Editor tab at the top.

Edit: Dang! stumbleUpon beat me ;)

Thanks to all,
That did the trick.
Now if I can figure how to thank people & mark the thread solved I'd be O.K.

Actually since you asked, there is.
Open Office opens up certain text files that I use with lines & coloums like an excel spread sheet because they are old DOS database files that I save as standard text files through Dosbox. Gedit opens them the way I need them without any editing needed. I have twenty years of invoices in those databases so I'm looking for an easy way to print them when there is a call to.
